Diane M. Daubert

Dr. Daubert is a faculty member in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington. She graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Dental Hygiene in 1982. She joined the periodontics department in 1987, completed her MS in Oral Biology, and her PhD in Oral Biology. Dr. Daubert’s research interests involve translational and clinical studies on peri-implantitis, including prevalence, relative risks, microbial communities, titanium corrosion, and epigenetics of peri-implant disease. Diane has lectured nationally and internationally on periodontics updates, dental implant maintenance, risk factors in implant disease, and non-surgical treatment of peri- implantitis. She plays a vital role in pre-doctoral periodontal education at the University of Washington along with mentoring periodontal residents in their master’s research. Her manuscripts have been published in peer-reviewed dental journals.
