Dr Andreas Kurbad graduated from the University of Jena and Erfurt, Germany in 1983 and commenced as a scientific co-worker at the department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Erfurt in the same year.
In 198? he obtained his degree in dental medicine [Dr. med. dent.] and has been in private practice in Viersen, Germany since 1990. As a CEREC user since 1994, Dr Kurbad is a founding member of the \’CEREC Masters Club\’.
Dr Kurbad actively participates in lecturing and producing publications relating to restorative dentistry, adhesive technique, all-ceramics, compute rized dentistry and implant ology. He has fac ilitat ed numerous clinics on all-ceramics and computerized dentistry since 1996 and is a returning lecturer at the \’Karl-Haupl-lnstitute\’ in Dusseldorf for over a decade.
Dr Kurbad has produced over 100 publications relating to All-Ceramics, computerized dentistry, implantology and epidemiology . He is also the Co- Publisher of the Ouintessence book \’CAD/CAM and All-Ceramics\’.
He is a respected member of several editorial boards: the Internationa l Journal of Computerized Dentistry: the German Quintessence Journal of Dental Tec hnology: and the International Digital Dental News Journal.
