Dr. Agnes Bloch graduated DDS from Louis Pasteur University in 1988, Certificate A Buccal Biology, Option Histology-Embryology, 1989 and a Master of Biological and Medical Sciences, Option Histology-Embryology, 1990. She completed her Certificate B in Pedodontics-Prevention in 1990 and Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies(D.E.A.) of Molecular and Cellular Biology 1991.
Dr. Bloch-Zupan did her PhD on Developmental Biology, at ULP, 1994. At present she is a Professor in Oral Biology at the Strasbourg Faculty of Dentistry and an Honorary Professor in Paediatric Dentistry, since 2009.
Her previous positions include Senior Clinical Lecturer with Honorary Consultant status in Paediatric Dentistry, University College London, and Associate Professor in Paediatric Dentistry. Dr. Bloch-Zupan was Board-Member of the European Society of Human Genetics, until 2013, President of the Scientific Committee of the Association Hypophosphatasia Europe, and Member of the National College of French Teachers in Oral Biology since 2006. She is a Member of the French Society of Human Genetics and President of the AFNOR S 91N committee Oral care products since 2006.
Dr. Agnes Bloch-Zupan was awarded the Jean Verne Prize from the French National Academy of Dental Science (Laureate) 1993, Signal (Elida Gibbs-Faberge) Prize for Research Encouragement 1994 and the J. MORITA Prize XVI Congress of IAPD, Buenos Aires, Argentina 1997. She also won 5th Prize of Hospital Odontology (College Hospital Chief officers and Micro Mega) 2005 and Scientific Excellence Award 2009- 2013.
